Sometimes, the most memorable part of a meal is the final note. The FENNISTROY™ Artisan Brûlée Cocotte is designed for those intimate moments of culinary indulgence.

Whether you are torching a delicate vanilla bean sugar crust to a glass-like finish, baking an airy chocolate soufflé, or presenting a savory morning baked egg, this miniature vessel elevates the presentation from simple to spectacular. It is a testament to the belief that every guest deserves their own masterpiece.

🏺 Craftsmanship & Materiality

We stripped away the bulk of traditional bakeware to focus entirely on refined, table-ready aesthetics.

  • The Stone Core: Crafted from high-fired, dense stoneware. This material was specifically chosen for its exceptional thermal retention, ensuring your delicate custards bake evenly without curdling.

  • The Velvet Glaze: Coated in a smooth, bone-white artisanal glaze that naturally resists staining and offers a beautiful, neutral canvas for colorful berries and rich sauces.

  • The Halo: The rim of the dish is meticulously hand-painted with a subtle, kiln-fired gold accent, adding a touch of quiet luxury to the rustic stoneware.

  • The Reveal: It features a matching, perfectly fitted ceramic lid with a delicate finial knob. This allows you to build anticipation at the dinner table—unveiling the dessert right before the first bite.

📖 Usage & Care Instructions

To ensure your FENNISTROY™ Cocotte lasts for generations of dinner parties, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Heat Tolerance: Fully oven-safe up to 500°F (260°C). It is exceptionally resilient and perfectly safe for direct, sustained heat from a culinary butane torch when caramelizing sugar.

  2. The Transition: Designed to go straight from the oven or refrigerator directly to your dining table or a beautifully styled stone pedestal.

  3. Washing: Because of the delicate, hand-painted gold rim, hand washing is strictly recommended. Use warm water and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh dishwasher detergents which will dull the metallic finish over time.

  4. Microwave Warning: Due to the metallic gold detailing, this vessel must never be used in a microwave.
